Do you use MS Outlook for your email? If so, please read this post!! Microsoft Threat Intelligence discovered a vulnerability that allows bad actors (aka hackers) to take control of your email. The trigger for this comes in the form of an Calendar Invite.

𝓟𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓼𝓮, 𝓟𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓼𝓮, 𝓟𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓼𝓮 , 𝐃𝐎 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐂𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐊 on any 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬 from people you don’t know, even if you think it could be a new lead reaching out to schedule an appointment. Please be safe and email the person first to verify they sent the invite.

In this case it is 𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗼𝗼𝗼𝗼𝗼𝗼 much better to spend a few minutes and be safe rather than being very sorry, when you are trying to take back control of your email as well as cleaning up the mess the hackers made when they email all of your contacts to perpetuate this exploitation.
